Chapter 1116: Our Last Chance
Chapter 1116: Our Last Chance
The people nearby who were listening to the gossip were all stunned: "Married?! When did you get married? Weren’t you just blind dating recently?"Stella Charlie replied with a light smile: "The day before yesterday."
Boss: "Oh my god! Was it the morning you took leave?"
A group of people immediately started gossiping about Stella Charlie’s "flash marriage," and Stella briefly talked about how she and Vincent Warner had known each other for a long time.
This was also the first time in years she had talked to others about this past.
She thought it was a pain she didn’t want to touch, but speaking of it now, it seemed like a special memory of youth.
Stella Charlie realized she remembered all those details so clearly.
When the plane landed, Vincent Warner took the VIP passage, getting off the plane earlier than Stella Charlie and her group.
He didn’t leave but stood in the corridor waiting for Stella Charlie.
Seeing Stella Charlie was with her colleagues, Vincent Warner didn’t approach rashly, just watched from afar, as he didn’t know Stella Charlie had already told everyone about their relationship.
He saw Stella Charlie’s boss walking straight towards him, thinking the boss was just coming to say hello out of politeness, but then the boss said, "Mr. Warner, congratulations on your marriage."
This left Vincent Warner stunned, and seeing his surprised expression, Stella Charlie, standing beside her boss, couldn’t help but smile.
The boss smiled and called the subordinates away, leaving Stella Charlie behind.
Soon, only Stella Charlie was left in front of Vincent Warner.
Under Vincent Warner’s gaze, Stella Charlie became a bit embarrassed, looked away, and changed the subject: "...Let’s go, I need to get my luggage."
Vincent Warner reached out and held her, suppressing his laughter, asked her, "Did you... tell them all?"
Stella Charlie pursed her lips and just explained, "You come looking for me every day, it couldn’t be hidden."
Vincent Warner smiled and hugged her tightly; for him, Stella Charlie’s gesture was a form of acknowledgment.
He silently vowed in his heart that he would never let this girl down again in this lifetime.
Stella Charlie also let go of her doubts, deciding not to trouble herself with worries before they arose and to fully enjoy the time with Vincent Warner.
No matter how long this time would be.
Forever was too far; they would just live for the moment, loving each day as it comes.
"Sean, this is our last chance." Stella Charlie murmured softly, buried in Vincent Warner’s arms.
Vincent Warner looked down at her, gently pulling her up to face him, and said, "I know you still have concerns in your heart and can’t completely trust me yet, but this time I’ll do everything I can to cherish the opportunity you’ve given me."
Stella Charlie took a deep breath, not responding, and buried her head again in his arms, holding him tightly.
Vincent Warner raised his hand to gently rub her head; she had cut her once-beloved long hair and become an even better version of herself, yet she was still the girl who could fill all the voids in his heart.
Fortunately, after all the twists and turns, she had come back to his side.
"I’ll have someone pick up the luggage. Let’s go to dinner first?"
Stella Charlie looked up at him and said, "Brother Jacobs already prepared dinner for us at home, just waiting for us to return."
Mentioning Kai Jacobs made Vincent Warner frown: "Why is he living at your house?"
Stella Charlie corrected him: "I’m living in his house. Don’t hold such hostility towards Brother Jacobs; he’s like family to me. Over the years, I’ve owed a lot to him, and you should properly thank him for taking care of me all these years."
